Privacy policy

GigClick is a metronome app for musicians, developed and published by Matt, a drummer (contact: support@gigclickapp.com).

The short version

GigClick collects no data. Nothing you do in the app leaves your device.

Details

• No data collection. GigClick does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind.
• No accounts. The app has no sign-up, login, or user accounts.
• No network access. The app performs no network communication.
• No advertising. The app contains no ads and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
• Local data only. Your songs, setlists, and settings are stored solely on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
• Backups and exports. Backup files and setlist PDFs are created only when you explicitly choose to export them, and are written to the location you pick. Where you store or share those files is under your control; GigClick never uploads them anywhere.
• Permissions. The app requests notification permission solely to show the playback notification Android requires while the metronome runs in the background. No other sensitive permissions are requested.

Children

GigClick is made for musicians of all ages, including children learning an instrument — practising with a click is a skill worth starting early. The app's zero-data design applies equally to everyone: no personal information is ever collected from anyone, adult or child. There are also no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, and no social features.

Changes

If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version adds an online feature), the updated policy will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
